The plot may sound oddly familiar: operatic sensation Christina Joseph leaves a promising career at La Scala and returns to her roots in Nashville, Tennesee where she lands a job singing backup at The Country Palace. She finds an enemy in an aging Country-Western diva, a friend in the diva’s young son, and a mentor in a mysterious janitor who’s determined to make Christina (now Chrissy Jo Jenkins) Country music’s newest star.
It’s a splashy, hilarious Country-Western send-up of the classic tale of horror, “The Phantom of the Opera.” Filled with irreverent wit, painful punning, sly contemporary references, singing acts like “Andrew, Lloyd and Webber,” and songs like “Hog Butcher’s Daughter” and “Does Your Daddy Know You Like to Kiss Cowboys?”
The show has a large cast with both speaking and ensemble roles for actors of varied ages.
A Carnival Christmas

Written and performed especially for the residents of Carpenters Shelter in Alexandria, Virginia, the largest family homeless shelter in Northern Virginia. It is an interactive show about Mrs. Claus’ dream of having a surprise party with carnival games, prizes, cake and goodies. Santa’s Elves concoct the party with the help of a wacky childhood friend of Mrs. Claus’ and a frazzled but well-meaning party planner. The guest list includes a variety of surprise show-ups including the big man himself. The show was featured in the April edition of Elan Magazine.

The Bank Street Band, opera star, Laura Mann and television actress,
Brittany Martz made this a most memorable event.

Wedding

2005 A Christmas Wedding
For the memory-Impaired patients of area nursing homes - [Photos]
An outreach program to area nursing homes that was written for
memory impaired patients. Actors, performing from a loose script
that is largely improvisation, enact a wedding ceremony followed
by a gala reception which includes wedding cake and "champagne"
(sparkling cider) for the "guests." There is a surprise
proposal by the bride's widowed father to the groom's widowed
mother, a large engagement ring and lots of dancing to the old
standards. The wedding party is costumed in Christmas colors.
The groom sings to the bride and an assortment of colorful and
talented family friends sing, dance and delight the guests with
their antics.

A celebration of the music and Dancing of the 30's, 40's &
50's

A variety show which celebrated the music
and dancing of the 1930's, 40's and 50's with performances from
several professional performers alongside local artists and Theatre
Ministry members. Pre show food was available at the "Doo
Wop Burger Shop" and included a performance by the Roller
Skating Car Hop, local swing dancers and even an appearance by
a classic car! Proceeds went to help the victims of Hurricane
Katrina in Biloxi, Miss.
It Takes A Shoemaker

2006 It Takes A Shoemaker
(A world premier musical) - [Photos]
The world premier of this musical, presently
being prepared to be an animated film, took place at the St. John
Neumann Parish Center in August of 2006. The show brought out
sizeable audiences which grew larger with each performance. Proceeds
from the show were donated to FACETS in Fairfax County to help
provide several children of homeless families a summer camp experience.
